SKETCHESS – I GUESS SOW

The EDB has launched the campaign “Promoting Positive Values and Attitudes through English Sayings of Wisdom (SOW)” to enhance students’ English learning and develop in them positive values and attitudes.

English Sayings of Wisdom (SOW) are inspiring words that hold the knowledge of truth and advice for life, shed light on uncertainties, and provide insights into life.

20 SOW are selected for the game SKETCHESS – I Guess SOW. Players either sketch the picture for the selected SOW or guess what SOW is being sketched.

Rules

Single-player:The computer starts to sketch and the player guesses what the saying is by clicking on the correct answer.

Multiplayer (No Teaming Up):2 or more players are needed. One player (the host)creates the game. The other players join the game with the game code generated. Each player takes turn to sketch and guess.

Multiplayer (Teaming Up): 3 or more players are divided into 2 or more teams. One team (the host) creates the game. The other team(s) join the game with the game code generated. Each team takes turn to sketch and guess.

Scores

Single-player / Multiplayer (No Teaming Up):The guesser gets a point if s/he makes a correct guess.

Multiplayer (No Teaming Up):The sketcher gets a point if a correct guess is made.

Multiplayer (Teaming Up):The guesser team gets a point if the majority of the members make the correct guess. The sketcher team gets a point if a correct guess is made.
